  • Nike Zoom LeBron VI – Camo Home PE

This Nike Zoom LeBron VI Camo Home PE is a great looking shoe. It is sold at the UK Nike website for £ 85. eBay has ads for them selling at $250.

It has a special camo print accent along the trim pieces and midsole. The toe box and midsection are white. There is a shoe strap across the start of the shoe lace strip. The lace is in white and red stripes. However, the lace can be changed if you have spare ones. The white tongue ends in a large red colored tip with a logo attached. The tag is a prominent feature of the tongue. The red colored accents work well. The shiny red Nike swoosh looks unique on the all white colorway. The base of the heel has a red panel that is lined by the cameo print. The midsole is covered with the print pattern and provides an interesting contrast to the white colorway. The cameo trimmings are nice accents.

The back tab at the heel is red with a red shoe strap in quality leather. The rest of the back of the heel has several layers of patterns. The lower layer of the midsole is red. The outsole is red and white in a complicated pattern of treads. The intertwined lattice looks good.

  • Stormtrooper Nike Blazers

Sole Junkie posted these custom Nike Blazers at his Customsnkr.com blog linked here. The designer took the Imperial Stormtrooper image from the Star Wars franchise as inspiration for his sneaker art.

These Blazers started out all white but ended up looking like the black/white uniforms worn by the Emperor’s troops. Sole Junkie painted the swoosh and heel black before adding the stormtrooper helmet below the collar.

My least favorite part of the Stormtrooper Nike Blazers was the black/white striping just above the outsole near the toe. This little touch caught my eye right away, taking my view away from the great work Sole Junkie did on the rest of the shoe.

I am nitpicking, of course, because the remainder of the designer’s efforts is awesome. Sole Junkie kept a majority of the white colorway to recreate the stormtrooper’s uniform while putting the helmet near the top or head of the shoe. His detailed work and deliberate design choices make for a great homage to one of my favorite movie franchises.

    Nike Hyperdunk - New Colorways - #1

We saw alot of colorways of the Nike Hyperdunk in the summer around the launch and the Olympics, but since then things have slowed down a bit. Now, just in time for the holiday season, Nike Basketball has added some fresh new colorways.

    The three here include white/red-black, black/university blue-white and white/navy-ice.

Each shoe features translucent, icy soles that read “That aint’ right” on the bottom. “That ain’t right” is from the Nike advertising campaign where players were dunking over each other. Expect these new colorways of the Nike Hyperdunk to be at your local store in the upcoming weeks. Via Footlocker Unlocked.
