  • Command-N-Conquer Customs from ABMNATN

Custom designer ABMNATN offers an homage to America’s soldiers with the pair of custom Nike Dunks pictured here. ABMNATN turned a basic pair of high top Dunks into sneakers that look like they are government issue. I love the small details that ABMNATN used when producing the Command-N-Conquer Dunks.

My two favorite elements of the Command-N-Conquer Dunks are the white military stamps and the two metal stars. The white stamp on each heel is the designer’s brand in military font that would match similar print on foot lockers, backpacks and vehicles. There are two metal stars placed on both sides of each Dunk that look like they belong on the shoulders of an experienced general.

Readers can check out the Command-N-Conquer Dunks at ABMNATN’s website linked here.

Bape Aqua Socks Sockstas - #1

Recently we talked about the overpriced Bapesta sandals, now A Bathing Ape has created some overpriced socks.

Well, not exactly just socks – aqua socks, which means they are like a short shock with a rubber sole attached. I guess they are good for water sports, but I’m not sure that I’d pay $70 for them.

They come in four colors all with the Bapesta logo. You can get them in M, L & XL in upcoming weeks at Bape flagship stores for 7,140 yen. I’m not a big fan of these, but I’m sure somebody will like them. Via Nick Kicks.

  • Nike Zoom Kobe IV
By on July 2nd, 2008 | No Comments Comments

    here

Everyone knows that Kobe Bryant is different, special and unique. This January, Nike will release a basketball shoes to mirror Kobe’s uniqueness, the Nike Zoom Kobe IV. The most noticeable aspect of the shoes is the silhouette, which differs greatly from any other basketball shoe, as the Kobe IVs are low-cut.

Nike also incorporates all of its newest performance technologies like the flywire and the lunarlite foam into Kobe’s fourth signature pairs. The flywire enables the wearer to jump right after landing from a previous leap, while the lunarlight disperses pressure to protect the feet from fatigue and injury.

Set to retail for $120 in January 2009, the first colorway will be the West Coast Edition in Black/Black-Varsity Purple-Medium Grey. This colorway will feature the team logo crest of the Torino Football Club in Italy on the tongue.
