Nike brings Gigi Ruf and the Toxic Avenger theme to a great union in this pair, where the colors and the design emphasize strength, energy, and innovation with an incredibly convincing power. In addition, the stylish sweetness of the design is the perfectionist’s dream. It is so well executed that no serrious person in any age would have been able to find a single flaw with its form or spirit.

At times legends come to life, sometimes the soul of a concept is brought to perfection in a magnificent design. This is one such masterpiece. We surely admire the outrageous success of this ambitious project from Nike.

Casey Custom Sneakers went back to the original gangster Al Capone with the Al Capone Converse All Stars. These custom Converse All Stars are hitting the market just as Public Enemies is getting ready to hit theaters over the Fourth of July weekend. I found these photos at the Casey Custom Sneakers website linked here.

The release of Public Enemies, a summer blockbuster about John Dillinger and the FBI, will increase interest in American gangsters from the 1920s and the Great Depression. The Al Capone Converse All Stars feature portraits of the Chicago mobster on both tongues from his conviction in 1931 for racketeering. Casey Custom Sneakers did a great job transferring this iconic imagery without sacrificing visual clarity or the gangster’s haunting stare.

The heel wrap, middle panel and toe of each shoe feature the Chicago skyline in all of its glory. The designer showed the Windy City horizon in order to show the extent of Al Capone’s criminal kingdom before he was brought down by the FBI. You can View More Photos/Info

Filippo Perin is great artist in the venerable Italian tradition. He is a continuator of the ancient heritage of those like Michelangelo, Leonardo, or the recent Federico Fellini, all of whom revolutionized Italian spirit in their own way.

This greatest artist of our age has a liking to Nike and created these beautiful pieces of origami to emphasize the undying value of Nike’s creations. To be sure, the combination is an inspirational one, and its power is enough to open an era in sneaker design and the meaning of sportsmanship.

The Nike Air Yeezy has been in lack of supply and at the same time has lots of demand. This has been used to then utmost advantage by Sole Heaven by giving another shoe, the Nike Air Scandal with the Yeezy treatment in terms of inspiration. It comes out now in a zen grey and charcoal colorway as the main theme. This can be ordered straight from Sole Heaven’s email. Overall, they are a nice pair of kicks!

Similar to the Swan Dunk Hi, both have yellow speckling on an anthracite backdrop. This sneaker features a black suede upper and swoosh, an outsole with very light amount of speckling. It will be released by October of 2009.
