Its always nice to look at the classic Nike Cortez. Throughout the years, the Nike Cortez has been quite successful and will continue to be successful.  This latest Nike Cortez Nylon comes in an Green/White/Yellow colorway. This pair features two materials, nylon and suede. Most of the sneaker comes in green including the upper. White is seen on the Nike Swoosh, shoe laces, tongue, midsole, outsole, and liner. Hints of yellow are seen on the tongue tag and the back of the sole. This could attract some people just because the sneaker is one of the classics. As most of you probably know, Valentine’s Day is tomorrow. This year we have seen some great Valentine’s Day inspired sneakers . Well it looks like Nike is coming out with another Valentine’s Day sneaker, just a day before the love holiday. This latest Nike Blazer Mid GS is dubbed “Love”.

This Blazer comes with a Black base. Nubuck is seen on the upper, while black patent leather is placed on the toe, lace panels, heel spine, and the top of the tongue. Light Pink is used on the Nike Swoosh and outsole, while a dark shade of pink is seen on the tongue tag. White patent leather is placed on the heel tab, where a large Pink heart with “LOVE” printed in the center is located. This would be a steal for the small sneakerheads. It is the start of a new journey for Keith Hufnagel, owner of the HUF brand that concentrates more in the field of skate market. For this year, he established a new line of shoes not only intended for the skate community but to everyone who finds that HUF excellent quality.

The once skateboarding shoe line is now a collection of high and low cuts in solid colorways wherein canvas and suede were the primary composition. These rich-colored shoes come in Black, Red, Navy Blue, Royal Blue, Teal, White, and Green.

Bearing the same concept as the original HUF skate shoes, the 2010 collection endorses the vulcanized rubber sole where each of the shoes sits on. The color scheme also utilizes a tonal setup where both upper and shoe laces come in a single color except for a Black pair that uses neon Green laces.

For now, this project is one of Mr. Hufnagel’s great accomplishments. What a good way to start a new year.

In the Chinese lunar calendar, 2010 has been recognized to be the Year of the Tiger and in this current year, people around the world, not only Chinese are now excited to celebrate the occasion. In view of this, it has been a custom for sneaker giant, Nike to observe the said festivity by creating an exclusive piece from its lineup. For the Year of the Tiger, a pair of Classic Cortez Premium was chosen to give honor to the Chinese New Year.

This year’s featured Cortez took inspiration from the tiger’s appearance with the Yellow stripes based on a White leather upper. As for the Swoosh, toe cap, lace section, and heel, Tan pony hair was used. The inside has a White finished liner and Black shoe laces give a perfect contrast.
