The canvas upper makes all these possible plus the genius mid behind all Converse unique designs.

  • Nick Young & Paul George Talk Hyperdunk+ and Wearing Yeezy 2s On Court
By on July 2nd, 2012 | No Comments Comments

By now, you have heard (or should have heard) the news of Clippers wingman Nick Young winning our 2012 Kicks On Court Champion award; he edged out Pacers forward Paul George in a very close race to win. Both, natives of California, brought out a wide variety of heat throughout the 2011-2012 NBA season. Yet, both have much more in common than being from Cali and rocking versatile lineup on the hardwood. Young and George have both tested the Nike Lunar Hyperdunk+ and gave it high praise in our recent, respective discussions with each. In addition, both have given us a preview of what they’ll more than likely wear on court next season, the Nike Air Yeezy 2. Wait, what?

On playing in the Nike Lunar Hyperdunk+:

Nick Young“Those things are crazy! They’re light, they measure your vertical, they test how fast you’re moving and how many calories you’re burning. I have never seen anything like that. It’s like a FuelBand in a shoe. I’m going to play in them a lot this summer. They recently put them on NikeiD as well, so you know I’ll have to get a few of those. I need to make my own colors, you know?”

Paul George“I’m really used to playing in low-tops, but this shoe is just as light as the Kobes. The only thing I had to get used to is wearing a shoe that comes around the ankle area. But the Lunar Hyperdunk+ is a real comfortable shoe, and with it being able to gauge how high you jump and how fast you’re running, that’s pretty crazy.”

On possibly wearing Yeezy 2s on court next season:

Nick Young“It depends on what team I’m playing for next season, but I’m going to bust out the Yeezy 2s in one game just to do it. Other than that, I’ll probably pull out some Pennys and definitely rock the Nike Zoom Kobe VIII when it comes out.”

Paul George“I think I might shut it down when I bring the Yeezy 2s out. I think I’ll make an appearance in those at least one game. I might do something wild like that. You have to watch Gilbert Arenas too. He’ll pull something out like that. He’s kind of sneaky with it.”

Will the Yeezy 2 show up on multiple occasions in the NBA next season?
