  • My 5: Mateo’s Sneaker Rotation
By on July 5th, 2012 | No Comments Comments

Music-wise, hip-hop artists are regulars in our My 5 column, so what’s an R&B/soul singer doing here? Mateo, the latest signee to Interscope records and Krucial Noise (owned by Kerry “Krucial” Brothers — Grammy-award winning producer for famed artist Alicia Keys), is an avid fan of sneakers and indie streetwear fashion. We recently caught up with the Cincinnati native to find out which five shoes make up his current rotation. Mateo mixes classic, iconic Converse and Reebok silhouettes with some of the newest, up-to-date creations from Jordan Brand. Check out Mateo’s My 5 blend below.

  • Nike Footscape Woven Chukka Motion “Granite”
By on July 5th, 2012 | No Comments Comments

Nike Sportswear latest look at the Nike Footscape Woven Chukka Motion skips the usual bright colors, and instead goes with a more subdued granite color blocking. Seen previously in White/Rainbow, Black/Rainbow, and Black/Blue, the uniquely styled sneaker feature a black outsole beneath a off-white midsole. Wooven details mix the white and grey tones, leaving the suede and leather upper in a bit of disarray. Release details are unknown at the moment, but stay close for a official release info.

  • Featured Shoes: Air Jordan 2012 Lite – The Hulk Sneakers
By on July 4th, 2012 | No Comments Comments

Just want to buy a pair of Air Jordan 2012 Lite – The Hulk Sneakers right now? Air Jordan 2012 Lite – The Hulk Sneakers.

The maddest Marvel Comics character has struck back not as a huge monstrous green guy with clothes being ripped off when angry but as a pair of kicks that received the green thing inspiration. Jordan Brand knows how to please and scare its fans that is the reason why it came up with something that would not always bring out the best mood in you but this time it knows how to push your button and drive you cranky with this new pair of Air Jordan 2012 Lites dubbed as ‘The Hulk’.

Apparently, the appearance of this pack seems to have reflected most of Bruce Banner’s alter-ego, The Hulk. The two-toned green upper fused with the infamous Flywire technology mixes with some purple hits from the heel and bottom thus creating a wonderful monster that is ready to rock the hardwood court. This Air Jordan 2012 version boasts a diamond-quilted tongue, collar, and inner lining plus a sleek midsole that’s designed with patterned lines from its Flywire thread endings. Black is just a minimalist accent that is being capitalized by the Jumpman logo along the side as well as some points on the tongue, interior, and midsole.
