Just as Nike SB finally decides to release the famous Gucci Dunk Hi’s , Nike Sportswear is planning to release their own version. This Supreme version is quite similar to the Premium SB version except for some little things. The SB version uses denim on the black parts while this version uses an Ostrich-like material, like that on the Premium Infrared 90s that re released last year. Other exotic leathers are used throughout the shoe. Lastly swap out the green sole for the always-popular gum sole and your set. Rumor is this shoe is a part of the Nike East vs. West collection that Eddie Cruz and DJ Clark Kent worked on. This Dunk is scheduled to release in October of this year. VIA: Footlocker Unlocked

Look at the supreme allure of this electroconvulsive design from our friends. Look at the celestial dazzle of this thermonuclear creation from the mind-smiting geniuses of Converse. Which words can do justice to their talent?

    Converse Chuck Taylor - AC/DC Pack - June ‘09

    Converse Chuck Taylor – AC/DC Pack – June ‘09

The AC/DC pack is all that you’d expect it to be from Converse. It is electrifying, mesmerizing, and eventually mind-blasting with a hot spicing of sneakermania. There are all the supreme artifacts of the Converse tradition squeezed into the texture of a stylish design, and the overall power and dominant beauty of the form is suited a work of art.

This is all about bravado and extravagance, but it is done with refinement. Refined excess, controlled madness, hot chastity, these are the hallmarks of these wonderous works of our friends at Converse. Who would fail to approve of their work? They will show up on June 1st. Via Sneakernews.com

  • Atomic Burst Nike Blazers

Sahdir Ellis from Sofly Customs entered the Atomic Burst Nike Blazers in the ongoing 2009 Clash of the Customizers. Ellis was a winner in the first round by default as the competition forfeited, allowing Sofly Customs to reach the second round later this month. You can check out Sofly’s competition in the Clash of the Customizers at the website linked here.

The Atomic Burst Nike Blazers stem from the designer’s interest in the overwhelming force of atomic bombs. Ellis used burgundy and orange hues to symbolize the colorful aftermath of an atomic explosion. The burgundy Nike swooshes set against the orange middle panel and heel wrap are striking. The interior side of the Atomic Burst Blazers feature billowing clouds in yellow, orange and red that shroud the bomb’s impact point.

The middle of each heel features the haunting image of a mushroom cloud produced after an atomic bomb impact. The heel tag shows sullen characters who appear to have survived the explosion with a little luck and some gas masks. Even though the Atomic Burst Nike Blazers won by forfeit, I think that the work of Sofly Customs would have competed against the best customs in the tournament. You can get in touch with Sofly Customs today at the website linked here if you want to learn more about the designer’s other customs.

Air Jordan Fusion 9 Low White/Black/University Blue
The colorway on these is obviously inspired by the classic Powder Blue Air Jordan 9’s, but will the classic colorway be enough to please the naysayers of all of these hybrids? That’s up for you to decide, but there is still no questioning that the colorway is nice, regardless of your thoughts on the shoe.
