  • Flexmaster Dee Adidas Superstar II
By on January 30th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

DJ Flexmaster Dee is a prominent Swish DJ and manager of several DJ crews. Sole Brother Customs was tasked with celebrating the man’s work on a pair of Adidas Superstar IIs. I found the Flexmaster Dee Superstars at Sole Brother’s website linked here.

Sole Brother applied logos for Flexmaster Dee’s crews, The Bumsquad DJs and DJ League Europe, on the black and gray heels. Along the exterior sides of both shoes, the designer has created a nice black/white depiction of a turntable arm and record. Flexmaster Dee’s name along with his unofficial title, “The Swiss Heavyweight,” are written in alternating black/white colors just past the middle panel.

The simple colors on the Flexmaster Dee Superstars allow the DJ’s name and logos to speak for themselves. Instead of playing with the bright colors at the dance club, Sole Brother focused on the finer details on these no-nonsense sneakers. DJ Flexmaster Dee’s reputation continues to build as evidenced by the creation of these outstanding custom sneakers.

Nike Air Max Light - JD Sports Exclusive - #1

We have seen JD Sports work on the Air Max shoes in the past with great success. And now here’s another JD Sports Exclusive release that should be a big hit.

This Air Max Light uses a combination of materials and two contrasting colors to wow the crowd. The upper features black felt, black leather and black mesh with the contrasting canyon gold on the parts of the outsole, the Nike logos and around the ankle. The stark different between the black and gold really make these shoes eye-catching.

You can get these sneakers now exclusively JD Sports in the UK.

If you want to add a unique pair of Pumas to your collection, take a look at the Puma Fall 2009 First Round pack. Using the First Round model, it looks like Sunkist and 7 Up sodas are the two inspirations for these shoes due to the color combinations that are used.

Both versions have a prominent Puma logo on the tongue and multicolored laces. Overall, this looks like a fun release for 2009. Look for more details coming out in upcoming months. Via High Snobiety.

    Almond x New Balance 1500

New Balance really went to work in this collaboration with Almond to produce a colorful yet not overwhelming shoe. Although they used the New Balance 1500 model, it’s the colors that really stand out. It’s not known if or when these sneakers will hit stores in the United States but expect them to be ¥27,300 (Approx. $302 USD).

Both suede and leather are combined to add a bit of texture to the colors, and these sneakers have a white midsole and gum outsole. These shoes aren’t for everyone but if you want to liven up your look, they are a good option. Via Hypebeast.

Eric Dressen x Vans Syndicate - Half Cab “S” Pack

Check out these kicks that came to life via a collaboration between Vans Syndicate and former World Street Skateboarding Champion Eric Dressen. This Half Cab S pack features three colorways that are each very laidback and smooth. While these shoes aren’t yet available in stores, you can expect them to hit premium retailers in early March.

The most rustic brown shoe in the pack features a light and dark brown colorway. Another version utilizes multiple shades of grey and black, while the third colorway is a classic black-on-black combination. Each version features a white midsole and thick laces.

These sneakers get inspiration from the classic fedora using felt overlays, ribbon quarter panel, gold leaf custom lettering, and gold satin linings. Via High Snobiety.
