  • Nike Air Digs High
By on January 31st, 2009 | No Comments Comments

The Nike Air Digs High is a classic women’s shoe. The Nike Air Digs was originally released in 1991. It was made as a women’s volleyball sneaker. The shoe contains rubber mesh on the side panels and it has plastic lace holders. Please look for these shoes at the Nike website.

The toe box starts with a mesh. The mudguard is curved. There is another mudguard over the front portion of the toe box. There are two grey colored leather straps. They are at the start and end of the shoe lace system. The broad tongue ends in a Nike label tag. The Nike swoosh is a nice pink accent on the midsection. The midsole has a line of pink accent sandwiched between the white layers. The outsole is a layer of gum.

The inner lining of the shoe is teal colored to contrast with the rest of the shoe. The ankle of the shoe has a white collar and another decorative collar with vertical lines. The back of the heel has green teal, covered by a later of rubber mesh. The colors are subtle and do not distract the eye. The build of the shoe ensures maximum comfort while giving good performance. • Color Bar Superstars
By on January 31st, 2009 | No Comments Comments

Kelly Pittman from KP’s Customs in Nova Scotia created these custom Superstars for a friend going by the name McG. The theme of the Color Bar Superstars is the colorful stripes that appear on a TV at the end of a broadcast day. You can search for KP’s Customs on Facebook and email [email protected] to find out more about the designer.

KP started out with gray as the backdrop on the back half to let the colors stand out. A TV camera and old television set are depicted against the gray background on the outside of the right shoe. KP switched it up by placing a set of headphones with the name McG on the inside of the left shoe. KP also played around with a microphone and a mix tape on the remaining spaces.

The most notable features of the Color Bar Superstars are the wild colors used on the Adidas stripes and laces. KP switched out the bland tri-stripe with yellow, green and red stripes. The spaces between these stripes are filled with red and sky blue, the latter color matching the eyelets. The designer topped these customs off with some multi-color laces to match the tri-stripe colors.
