  • Nike Dream Season – Kobe Bryant – Fall/Winter ‘09
By on April 11th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

Nike’s second signature line for Kobe Bryant, this pack is devoted to realized dreams, and fulfilled hopes. Dreams are what distinguish the visionary from the ordinary fellow, and the competitive, cutthroat environment of basketball is perfect for a study of the concept, as realized in this beautiful pair from Nike.

The Nike Dream is ancient yet fresh and lively like it was born yesterday. And such is the design and form of these pairs too. They are built upon decades of refinement and improvement, but they are modern, vigorous, and strong as if they were entirely conceived and realized in the first months of this year.

Bearing the name of Kobe is a source of pride to any Nike or Basketball lover. Combining that experience with the honor of wearing such a wonderful pair makes the pleasure all the more incomparable. Via Kenlu. Release information will be available later.

  • Puma R698 Mesh – Red – White – Pink
By on April 11th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

This agile and swift design from Puma features a red leather/mesh upper with white and pink accents which all give the pair quite a fiery appearance. The hexagon pattern that covers the pink heel panel and the speckled design on the Puma logo stripe all add additional excitement to the joy of owning these.

These are light, stylish, elegant and shapely, just like we’ve come to expect from Puma over the years. The Red/white combination creates a perfect harmony that suits the overall fluid design of the shoe flawlessly.

We love this pair, but we hate the fact that it will be released in only limited numbers. MajorDC has some in stock right now.  So…if you have allies among ghosts, conspire with them, if Barack Obama is your relative call him, if you have angelic friends, ask them to stop time. No matter what, get these before they are gone. Via Sneakernews.com

  • Chronic Air Force Ones
By on April 11th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

Casey Custom Sneakers made the Chronic Air Force Ones for the owners of a company called LA Confidential Caregivers. The designer wanted to point out a safe and legitimate business that offers legalized marijuana to Californians with health problems. You can find out more about Casey Custom Sneakers at the designer’s website linked here.

The tongue features the center’s name in green letters set against a white background. Casey Customs left the remainder of these Air Force Ones relatively sparse with a green pot leaf painted on each middle panel. The designer put his special label at the top of the tongue, showing that Casey Customs is dealing with themes that Nike would not touch with a ten-foot pole.

I featured the U.S. Marine Air Force Ones in yesterday’s post and we could not have taken a great departure in themes with the Chronic AF1s. While the Marines are universally seen as defenders of American freedom, the debate over the war on drugs and the legalization of marijuana continues in the United States. • Nike Womens Blazer Mid 6.0 – Hyper Verde – Rave Pink
By on April 10th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

Shoes can’t use swords and spears, for sure, but the battle in the skateboarding arena is no less exciting because of the absence of such combat implements. We see in this new creation from Nike all the aspects of power that have allowed them supremacy in the footwear scene, and we are certain that they will keep dominating the fields.

This item features a Hyper Verde (green) canvas upper, with metallic silver threads that emit a shimmering effect. The pink swoosh and laces create an unusual contrast with the green, and the white toe section completes the design in a perfectly balanced fashion.

Concord in discord is a good phrase to define this beauty. It is bold, enticing, and colorful, and we love all that. You can pick a pair of these right now at eBay. Via SucreamUSA
