  • Gold Fade Air Force Ones

    goldfade1

Sneakers by Sean experimented with fading effects on the Gold Fade Air Force Ones. The Gold Fade AF1s were made for one of the designer’s friends who wanted a fresh pair of custom sneakers. I found these photos at the Sneakers by Sean Customsnkr.com blog linked here.

The toe and heel are painted navy blue to create a simple border for the gold fade. Sneakers by Sean painted the eyelets red to cut through the gold and white with a flash of color. The star of the Gold Fade Air Force Ones, of course, is the gold fade used on the toe box and heel wrap.

Sneakers by Sean made the gold fade more powerful by leaving the middle panel white. The gold from the toe box and heel wrap fades into white as your eye ventures to the Nike swoosh. The glimmering gold of the Nike swoosh bursts out from the white middle panel and grabs your attention. The Gold Fade Air Force Ones may be known for the technical proficiency of its designer but his eye for composition was demonstrated through these customs.
