Nike Dunk High + Low - Fall ‘09 Preview

Nike Dunk High + Low – Fall ‘09 Preview

The promise from Nike is that there will be a number of Dunk releases for summer. The Nike Dunk will feature an interesting and exciting combination of materials including suede and nylon,
as depicted in the pictures above. The impression we get is that Nike is preparing for a complete overhaul of the Dunk design this year, with a number of new and superior creations enriching the dunk palette of the master designers.

The strongest aspect of these pairs is the colorful and sturdy sole and heel which emphasize the legendary tradition without appearing boring and banal. We wouldn’t expect anything else from the master designers, but this work of art is an achievement that would easily put Michelangelo to shame. That’s why a few teardrops moist our cheeks as we appreciate this beauty.

Catch these at Nike retailers. Via SnkrFrkr.

Brahm Wachter Sneaker Design Studios premiered the Food Chain Air Force Ones on the Facebook page linked here recently. The studio’s namesake is a young sneaker artist from Connecticut who is skilled at creating amusing and stylish customs. You can see humor and style in the Food Chain Air Force Ones in the additional photos after the post.

The toe box has a red background with a bird’s nest in the center. Wachter wrote “Let’s Hit the Hawk’s Nest” in black on the blue toes after writing “Hawk’s Nest” on the toe box. The block lettering looks great next to the delicate eggs and finely built nest on the toe box.

The Food Chain Air Force Ones get more amusing as we head from the toe to the heel. Wachter wrote the perfect formula for a breakfast sandwich complete with illustrations of bagels, eggs, sausages, cheese and bacon. We can assume that the eggs were taken from the Hawk’s Nest on the toe box, showing the connection between nature and our dinner plate. I love Brahm Wachter’s View More Photos/Info

The all White upper with perforations on the toebox and side panels is finished with a White rubber sole. The left laces come in White while the right laces come in Purple, something that makes each shoe identical.
