The Alpha Kappa Alpha Adidas Superstar II are covered in inside jokes and personal references that are delightful to view. The left heel features “Alpha Kappa Alpha” in black cursive lettering and the sorority’s founding date (1908) set against a pink backdrop. The right exterior features block lettering that says “AKAtude” to represent the sorority’s attitude.
The interior side of the left heel has the year 2001 printed in pink to represent the wearer’s first year of membership. S4 added inside elements like an exaggerated “Skee!” call and a pinkie held up in the air for his girlfriend’s benefit. Nike sure has been doing a great job lately of releasing many of the fan favorites for classic basketball sneakers.This is the Total Max Uptempo in a black/volt colorway.The upper is predominantly black and made up of nubuck and leather and features volt accents in the swoosh and full length Air unit.
The Bespoke series of the Nike Air FOrce 1 is starting to see much more frequent releases, but with every one of them being a winner, we have no complaints.The latest was designed by Brian A. Ruffin and features an upper of off-white leather, brown suede and elephant print at the heel.
