  • One Jordan Hallowed Ground coming up!
By on December 18th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

Part of the Jordan Hallowed Ground collection is the Rip Hamilton PE sneaker. Those who have been waiting and dying to get these pairs can start wearing it (of course after buying it!) by December 19.

The color way is inspired by the shades of the Detroit Pistons jersey. Such varsity scheme (white blue, and a touch of red) is truly one sneaker that you must wear for playing and even for partying after a great game.

Blue, white, then blue again. That is how Nike worked the color scheme of the shoe. Starting from the tongue of the sneaker up to the mid-sole, blue reigns the area having leather as its material. The middle area is in plain white. But check out the heel and you can see the glossy ribbed blue shaped almost like an hour glass.

Of course the infamous Mr. Jumpman should be in a different color. Something that would make it stand out from the rest of the sneaker – red.

So how about checking this out at the House of Hoops in December 19?

  • Chicago’s House of Hoops to welcome Houston-inspired Nike Jordans
By on December 18th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

The Jordan kicks that were made exclusively for the House of Hoops in Houston will now become a part of the House of Hoops in Chicago very, very soon!

Four different Nike Jordans that were inspired by the color way of Houston will be out in the HOH Chicago this coming December 19. Although the shoes have the same color schemes (two shoes have white as the dominant color while the other two is mostly on black), each sneaker is very distinct. They have their own styles that can suit your own personality when it comes to shoes. Some have speckled soles while others were made from textured materials. They also differ when it comes to the insoles. Choose between Fusion 4 and Retro 4 if you want to step on stars while using these. But if you opt for the words Space City for your insole, then check out the Fusion 13 shoe.

  • Shoe-loha! Cool kicks from Fitted Hawaii and Element Skateboards
By on December 18th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

Hawaii is not just all about volcanoes, surfers, beach, sand, and babes. There are a lot of things that you can spot at Hawaii including cool “skaterboi’s” (as Avril Lavigne spells it) that proudly brags their 6-pack abs (marks that most of them are truly bums).

But do not just envy their bodies that are to-die-for. Hawaii is also fortunate to get hot kicks (and chicks!) just like the upcoming sneakers from Element Skateboards and Fitted Hawaii. It was named Kaholo which is some kind of hula dance in the state. Well maybe this isn’t just for skating after all!

Icons of Hawaii were incorporated in the shoe design like hula dancers, big waves, tropical fruits, and more hula dancers. If you’re in Hawaii right now, you’re one lucky guy if you get a pair of the Kaholo. These will be made available on December 19 and only 60 pairs will be released throughout the branches of Fitted Hawaii.

  • Nike Air Trainer’s Auburn
By on December 18th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

Early 2009, there had been a lot of scanned images from shoe catalogs showing a model of Nike Air Trainer SC which they called as th Auburn. But it was only recently that a clear photo of the Trainer SC Auburn was released online.

The color scheme is more like that of the great American Flag. Though there are no stars, the color way is composed of white, red, and blue shades just like  the star and the stripes. The Nike swoosh was in a different color as well as the mid-sole, which is gray. I wonder if it is really inspired by the flag or by the football team called Auburn? Well it is likely that it is the latter since it was coined as the Trainer SC Auburn, right?

Pay attention to the heel. It has the ruler-like lines which others consider as the timeline. I understand the 2010 since this is the year that the Auburn will be released. But what is up with the 1990? Can you tell me Nike or Auburn fans?

  • Black dominates the Nike Air Jordan 9
By on December 18th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

Some time in 2010, there will be tons of footwear from the Air Jordan VI collection. But what the previews that they gave us so far is not yet done. There are still more shoes to drool including the Nike Air Jordan IX.

Black, beautiful. The perfect words to describe the black, white, and orange shoe that is part of the Nike Air Jordan IX. This is just one of the color ways of the said collection.

Topping the kick is the infamous 3M material which gave the shoe that bulky look. So never pair this one with skinny jeans unless you want to beat Ronald McDonald. But it looks perfect though how the glossy mid-sole compliments the upper part of the shoe and the outsole. You know how B&W always look great together.

However, this shoe would look dull if it is just all black and couple of inches of white. The Nike Air logo was placed at the outsole and in color orange and so does the number 23 at the heel.

Expect the release of the Nike Air Jordan 9 by mid 2010.
