For those who are not aware, Gabriel Dishaw specializes in creating sculptures using junk like scrap metal and spare computer parts. He has the passion in shoe assembly by utilizing recycled computer parts, electronics, found metals, and other upcycled materials.
One of Dishaw’s popular pieces was the Nike-inspired “Frankenstein Terminators” junk art which was based on the Nike Terminator High with the upper made up of metal and eyelets of bolts and laces of wires. For this year’s annual 360SEE Earth Day Show, the junk artist showcased a collection of his creation that features Nike shoes inspired by different models.
