  • Ode to Chueh Dunks Customs
By on June 22nd, 2009 | No Comments Comments

My first reaction when i saw the customs was OMG, Where can i get these!! Im pretty sure the most of your reactions will be the same for the amazing Nike Dunks Customs. These beauties were designed by Yoa Kustoms, paying homage to not only his character scheme but Luke Chueh’s overall design aesthetic, employing minimal color to highlight the simple animals in ill-fated situations. Chueh’s character is featured on the shoe as well as the insole’s, against a simple, faded background. Also, the blood dripping from the heel as well as the swoosh additionally celebrates Chueh’s artform and sets the design off.

  • Neon Kraze Air Force Ones

Ripp Get Em created the Neon Kraze Air Force Ones for himself recently. These brightly colored AF1s were created in two weeks using seven neon hues for an explosion of color unrivaled on the custom shoe market. You can get in touch with Ripp Get Em today at [email protected] if you are interested in some bright sneakers for the summer.

The blending of seven neon colors may seem like a jumbled mess on paper. The designer defied the odds on the Neon Kraze Air Force Ones by finding the best color combinations possible. The neon blue Nike swoosh runs into a purple middle panel for the perfect synergy of darker tints. The interplay of green, yellow and white within the eyelets may seem elementary but this trio of light colors acts in contrast to the darker middle panels.

Ripp has promised something bigger and better than the Neon Kraze Air Force Ones in the future. I like the designer’s desire to improve on his past work but I would be happy to see the next generation of the Neon Kraze Air Force Ones. Ripp’s latest customs burst with yellows, oranges and blues that will stand out in the warm summer sun.

Paul Rodriguez, one of the world’s best skaters, has already released two signature models with Nike SB, Is planning to release his third signature Nike SB, the P. Rod 3. The third model from Paul Rodriguez’s line takes a few elements from the past two models, including the side quilted panel, and meshes them together with some new school flavor to create a skateboarding sneaker that will last long and look great. This style of the P. Rod 3 hosts a white leather upper with black accents on the swoosh, tongue, and laces, while red accents are seen on the lace holes and heel.
