Air Jordan 15 “Navy” Retro Coming Soon

Although the Air Jordan 15 will never be mistaken for the greatest Jordan retro of all time, they have a very nuanced appeal that spans a wider audience than most like to admit. Spring 2017 will certainly shade light to that claim.

Among the original colorways set to retro is this imposing navy execution. Though not to be confused with an OG considering the subtle changes in tonal expression, this Air Jordan 15 does conjure thoughts of the shoes initial run back in 1999 and 2000.

Air Jordan 1 Low “Swooshless” Marks Departure from Signature Branding

Innovation often celebrates a departure from tradition. Conformity, even when it concerns branding, can sometimes imply stagnation.

Jordan Brand, with the Air Jordan 1 Low “Swooshless” edition, experiments with inventiveness and also exercises supreme confidence. Releasing an Air Jordan 1 sans Swoosh or Jumpman branding is bravado personified. It implies that the groundwork has been laid, the successes have been captured, and that they have nothing left to prove – they’re playing with house money.

A subtle shoe at its core, The Hundreds keep with that theme nicely – incorporating their brand name at the paneling in lieu of Reebok’s. From there, the navy coated style plays off of white and red accents while a bandana-styled liner adds a nice aesthetic touch.
