    Sneaker Story:

“From as long as I can remember, I’ve had a passion for sneakers. Even though I am a huge fan of Nike, I don’t slight my collection from any brand. I pride myself on having a little bit of everything.  From Saucony to ASICS, Brooks to New Balance, I collect for me and what I like, not for approvals.”

“This shoe stood out to me from the moment I saw it. Classic and modern at the same time. I’m a fan of textile uppers on runners, and the burgundy/turquoise combination is too clean. The contrast in the paisley print, laces, and back heel tab are well executed. Definitely looking to scoop this shoe.”

adidas Originals teams up with Russia’s Faces & Laces streetwear exhibition for one of the first collabs of the highly popular ZX Flux. Dubbed the “Teufelsberg” and inspired by the legendary Cold War era Russian spy station of the same name, this ZX Flux features a stealthy black upper with hits of red and metallic silver to symbolize the Red Army and covert radio signaling. The shoe will be extremely limited to only 300 pairs, and available exclusively at the adidas Originals booth at this Saturday’s 8th annual Faces & Laces event, along with a select group of Russian sneaker retailers including Fott.
