“The Miggy”, wonder if Detroit Tigers third baseman Miguel Cabrera, is cool with the term. But the Burn Rubber x New Balance 574 “The Miggy” celebrates his achievement of clinching the Triple Crown title in 2012. He’s the 17th player to do so. And the way things are with America’s motor city, it can do with every little bit of cheer that it gets. These are limited-edition kicks and Detroit-based Burn Rubber is obviously doing its bit to raise the morale all around.

And when we say “limited-edition,” we mean seriously limited edition because there will only be 44 pairs coming out. The number being a nod to Cabrera’s American League-leading 44 home runs last season. The suede-and-mesh affair obviously sports Tigers colors and a triple crown logo on the tongue. Sales begin April 8th, $150 for them.

The Nike Air Max 90 EM ‘Laser Blue’ is the much-loved classic upgraded with Engineered Mesh material; and sporting a “laser blue” colorway. It’s a play of white, blue, and black colors. Black being the color of the mudguard. They feature an injection molded PU midsole with encapsulated XL Air unit at heel. These sneakers are slated for an April 6 release. The Nike SB P-Rod 7 comes in July. It’s the coolest-looking skateboarding sneaker that we have seen in a while, and we are sure you share our opinion.
