Already surpassing their owner’s 0-82 expectations, the 1-win Nets played second fiddle to a courtside Jay-Z and his Nike Air Yeezy 2s. Much like little bro at the VMAs, Jay went with a denim on denim look, electing dark washes and the Black/Pink pair. If riots in Libya are caused by a hated government administration, the riots that recently happened from Washington State to Georgia were caused by the release of the new Air Jordan 11 Concord. The frenzy collision was triggered when shoppers waiting for hours in lines converged on Friday, December 23^rd in pursuit of the shoes, a retro model of one of the most popular Air Jordans ever made.

The Air Jordan 11 Concord dropped in a limited quantity which caused frustrated sneakerheads to have gone angry and wild. In New Jersey, it was reported that a man was stabbed. The victim will recover from his injuries. In Richmond, California a gunshot was fired around 7am.

Taylor police said Southland Mall security called police for assistance at around 5:30 a.m. this morning when a large crowd of about 300 people were lined up outside. The mall, located in Taylor, was not scheduled to open until 8 a.m.

Police said about 100 people gained entry to the mall through two doors near JCPenney and Best Buy. The crowd forced their way into the mall by pulling the main doors open and created some minor interior damage to decorations and benches that were toppled over during a scuffle.

The crowd was safely dispersed with only one arrest. There were no injuries and the property damage was isolated to the interior of the mall. The mall opened at 9 a.m.

Police were also called in to control crowds at two malls in Indianapolis. Similar scenes were also reported in Charlotte, N.C., San Antonio, Texas, and Houston.

The Air Jordan 11 Concord which costs about $180 went on sale after midnight. There have been reports that thousands have been lining up nationwide for the shoes.

While we have not seen a release of the Air Yeezy 2 yet, Kanye West made it publicly known tonight that he is sketching the Air Yeezy 3.  At this point it is not known by any of our sources at Nike whether or not there is a contract in place for a third shoe between Nike and Kanye West, but if there is, you can be certain buzz will begin even before the first images of the shoe surface.
