As sneaker fans sometimes we just have to face the facts and deal with it. Despite the fact that for the past couple years we have been in a sort of economic downturn that hasn’t stopped sneakers from getting all the more expensive every year. Nike understands that not all of their fans can afford to pay $200 for one pair of their premium basketball shoes, and that is why they try to accommodate everyone’s budget. One of the shoes that Nike has released for the more budget dollars is the Nike Air Max Wavy and today we are going to look at an unreleased sample of that shoe, this is the Nike Air Max Wavy Raptors.

While we aren’t quite sure why this colorway hasn’t been released, since it is very nice we are sure Nike had their reasons. The upper is predominantly black but is also accented by both purple and red which also reminds us a bit of one of our favorite pairs of Air Jordans.

This is supposed to be not the first time for you to hear about the Nike Air Max Liquid Racer since it was previously featured in four other colors. The latest addition to the group is a pair that comes in the same design having wavy curves on the side that appear like water flowing to a downward direction. This in deed is a running shoe that is based on the iconic Air Max model.

Nike recently released this Air Max Liquid Racer in a combination of black, del sol, and varsity red. Basically, the upper which comes in a mixed leather and mesh nylon strongly suggests the very common tone, black. The del sol is just an accent in which the Swoosh along the ankle and a tiny Swoosh on the toe as well as the Nike branding on the rear prefer to wear. Varsity red is the choice made for the plastic upper lace holder, tongue label, and Max Air unit in the heel. An Air Max label on the inner side is a blending of both del sol and varsity red.
