  • Vans OTW Alomar Work Boot
By on July 3rd, 2010 | No Comments Comments

It was just two months ago when the VANS OTW Collection was first seen and it first featured around 4 sneaker pairs. Some sneaker critics considered it to be looking the same like the Supra but still it was loved by all. The OTW Alomar lineup depends on the looks and the wearability of the shoes due to its use of high quality materials.

Here is a latest addition to the said pack called as the Vans OTW Alomar Work Boot. It is a fresh yet rugged sneaker that took its inspiration from the American work boot. Just like the rest of the pairs in the collection, it carries nice looks and made out of premium quality materials. Its uppers are made up of oiled leather and has some metal eyelets and waxed rope laces. It also has a sturdy construction and will just keep you going, and hiking, and working.

Nike has now unleashed a low-cut style for those who despise high-top construction of NBA 2010 All-Star lineup. The base is made out of a metallic silver leather and a 3M reflective material showing its face. “Black accents, in the form of the swoosh, laces and sole complete this shoe’s silhouette, while metallic silver/black Nike branding (tongue, heel, sole) provide nice, complimentary attributes.” The Nike Air Force 1 Premium “3M/Black” is now available at select Nike Sportswear retailers including Nice Kicks in Austin, Texas. $125.

  • Nike Zoom KD III Black-White-Photo Blue-Metallic Silver
By on July 2nd, 2010 | No Comments Comments

After a gamut of Nike KD IIs and its various colorways, special editions, and all its limited releases, it is about time to look into its future right to the Nike Zoom KD III. This is Kevin Durant’s third signature shoe. Here is a quick initial look to it and in some other blogs, its teaser pictures were shows probably around the months of May.

It also showed a good number of colors that would fit the Thunder theme along with the Team Bank colorways. This brand new colorway which is white, photo blue, black and metallic silver is another Away pair for the KD to be worn next season. Its journey from the second to the third did not really incur many changes since the midsole construction is not so different along with the uppers. The in-step strap was the only one removed and the Flywire can be seen right on the forefoot.

    Nike Womens Hyperfuse Black/Blustery/Team Red
One of the things that we like about Nike is that they, more so than most other brands give a lot of special attention to the ladies when it comes to new sneakers. That being said, most of that sort of attention comes in the form of Air Force 1’s and Dunks while they rarely ever release their basketball shoes for the ladies.Maybe Nike got wise to what the women wanted however because they have just outed this new sample version of a Nike Women’s Hyperfuse in this new black, blustery and team red colorway.

Granted that this is a woman’s sneaker, they still look perfectly masculine and could certainly be worn by men with small enough feet. The upper is predominantly black and is accented by a blue color that Nike is calling blustery. There is a minimal amount of team red accents featured around the tongue.
