  • CLOT x Nike 1World Air Force 1
By on December 28th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

Nike worked with CLOT, from Hong Kong, to give this CLOT Nike 1World Air Force 1. This shoe will be released on Jan. 16, 2009, at Juice in Hong Kong. ACU in Shanghai will also sell this shoe.

The shoe upper is made from Clot Royale Deluxe Silk. This is a textile that is traditionally associated with the Chinese. The textile has embroidered Clot graphics, which are Clot’s trademarked illustrations. These graphics are inspired by Chinese prints that were found in historical documents about 1000 years ago. The red colored upper shoe layer can be peeled off. The second layer underneath is a dark brown leather. The same Clot Chinese graphic prints are now lasered on the leather layer.

The shoe has a sock liner. This is inspired by the traditional green and white paper. The black accents are made in the matte-black leather details and black shoe laces. The white midsole and red outsole complete the look of this sneaker.

Clot and Nike created the special peel off double layer feature to encourage people to search through the superficial, to get inside what lies beneath. This Nike Clot Air Force 1 is sold in a special “Chinese Candy Box.”

  • TTK Streak Dunks Pack
By on December 28th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

TTK decided to create a three pack of custom Nike Dunks recently rather than sticking to his pattern of one-off projects. All three models in the TTK Streak Dunk Pack include black/gray patterns running from the heel to the collar. These photos were found at TTK’s latest Nike Talk post linked here.

The designer used streaks of black paint on the middle panel and toe box of each shoe with small glints of white for a simulated shine. TTK used brown, light green and dark green as background colors to make the black streaks look different on each shoe.TTK matched laces and swooshes on each shoe using bright colors with purple, orange and red sets arranged for the best shoe designs possible.

If you are interested in the TTK Streak Dunk pack, you can check out the designer’s website at http://www.gottkgo.com. The matching patterns on the TTK Streaks were carefully orchestrated by the designer, avoiding the unseemly look of a trio of loosely related sneakers cobbled together for marketing purposes. TTK’s Streak Dunk pack is colorful without going overboard and well-designed without looking like the designer used cookie cutter patterns.

    Terrem Tresia - #1

If you have liked some of the other boots from Terrem as of late, you might also like this one from their collection – the Terrem Tresia boot.

These have an interesting look about them, coming in either black or blue suede. The black are very subtle and neutral, while the blue are very vibrant. Both shoes have a white sole. The shape is nice but I think the toe is a little too pointy. They sort of remind me of elf shoes.

If you dig these kicks, you can get them now at eproze and other online retailers. Via High Snobiety.
