  • Custom Nike Dunk High “Tokyo Express”
By on October 30th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

JGoods is known for creating some pretty outrageous sneakers and these Nike Dunk High Toyko Express customs are right up there with his other work. The Rising Sun on the heel in red and the Japanese witting in white with a red outline are all nice touches which JGoods added to these customs dunks. What catches my eyes the most is that stripe design which is laid out on the lace tabs. Loving the fact how that same design is carried over to other parts of the sneaker to add to its look. A pair of customs like this from JGoods will run you around the ball park of $1,200, but if you look at the detail put into these, and the other customs, and think about the time it takes to put together something as fresh as this, its worth the price if you can swing it. Designs like this you would expect to see as official releases, you gotta pay for quality. This is one of the few latest custom sneakers by JGoods so make sure to check out the site here to see more.

  • Custom Nike Air Force One “Arctic”
By on October 30th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

Here is a custom sneaker from the Sekure D lab. This is the Nike Air Force One “Arctic” which was a special order done for a customer. Dipping into this his amazing graffiti talent Sekure D covered majority of the Air Force One in a white, blue and black graffiti design which is always a sight to see. The mid panel was done in a simple black and the Nike Swoosh was finished in blue and black whereas the blue is over the black mid panel and as it goes off towards the heel it jumps to black over the graffiti design.

I like the way that way done and how the colors were swapped to break everything up, it catches the eye. Sadly these are not for sale since they were a special order but you can rest assure Sekure D will be back soon with something new and exciting to add to the online store. be sure to visit the Sekure D website to purchase some of his previous custom sneakers which are still available.

  • Custom Nike Dunks ‘Do The Dew’
By on October 29th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

These custom Nike Dunks caught my attention right away. Artist Dez created these custom dunks with a Mountain Dew theme to go along with his Mountain Dew Green Label Art tundra bottle. Thats right, Dez is one of the six lucky artists who were able to catch the eye of the people at Mountain Dew during the Green Label Art design contest. An award of this nature is more then enough to celebrate seeing how Dez was added to the list with legendary artists such as Haze.

So to take things one step further, and to celebrate the award, Dez went ahead and put together the Do The Dew Dunks. The fading between the 2 shades of green is mint, and the splatter effect on the back gives it a nice little touch that you may not notice at first. One of the sneakers says ‘Do The Dew’ and the other sneaker says ‘Dunk The Dew’ and both are done in a stylish graffiti font. These sneakers are so fresh and so clean that you would believe they were straight from the factory with a paint job like that.

The Nike Air Force One Mid Supreme Baltoro will be released for retail sale on Nov. 29 and it sells for $175. It has a blue toe box and grey mudguard. The shoe lace region is in the same grey color. The shoe lace is brown-orange in color. There is a grey colored lock on the first pair of shoe laces. The ankle of the shoe has a shoe strap in grey color. Half the tongue is in the same blue material as the toe box as the segment has extended up to form the tongue. At the tip, the grey colored tag has a “Nike” printed nicely on it.

The midsection has a black colored panel overlying an orange colored layer. There are three small perforations in the black panel which reveals the orange color underneath it. The Nike swoosh is blue, with fine lines that resemble the elephant print. The midsole is in shiny material, which is colored black and blue. The outsole is black with dense, deep treads. At the collar of the ankle, there are accents in orange color. There is a back tab in blue color. The inner lining is in grey. It is a good looking shoe.
