    Nike Air Pegasus '83 - #1

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Pegasus, Nike has launched these two new colorways.

If you were a fan of the Pegasus back in the 80s, you might want to pick up a pair of the sneakers from Proper or the Nike Store. The first version uses two different shades of blue contrasted with a gold swoosh and lettering. The other shoe is uses a stealth grey upper with a Varsity Royal blue swoosh. The midsole is white with a black bottom sole. These shoes have plush cushioning and a rubber outsole.

Though the shoes are simple, if you like the old school flavor, these are an inexpensive option.Via High Snobiety.

Releasing as part of the Air Jordan IV/XIX Countdown Package, the Air Jordan IV Black Cement is a shoe that Jordan-heads have been praying to be retroed. Nike is scheduled to release the much anticipated classic pair on July 19 for $310 together with the Black/Chrome-Varsity Red Jordan 19.This is the first time the Black Cements are releasing since 1999.

Although a lot of fans will be ecstatic, some will definitely frown upon the Jumpman logo, which replaces the classic “Nike Air” on the back of the shoes. Those who have already gotten a pair also complain that the overall shape of the shoes as well as the materials used differ great from the Original Black Cement IVs.

Nevertheless, the retro IVs come relatively close to the OGs in terms of colorway. Both feature Black Nubuck uppers and Cement Grey-Fire Red midsoles.

  • WTRMLN Air Max 90s

Most of the custom sneakers posted on My Air Shoes are developed over days, weeks and months by visionary designers. Designer Eric Constantine spent a little under 12 hours developing his WTRMLN Air Max 90s. These photos were posted on Sneaker Obsession to show that experienced designers can put together a nice pair of customs without the benefit of time.

The subtlety of the WTRMLN design arises with Constantine’s careful planning of color placement. The pink and green colors that are familiar to watermelon fans are used on the majority of these shoes. Constantine added a mixed dark and light green pattern on a thin slice of the front panel in a nod to the real exterior of a watermelon. I love the fact that Constantine toed that thin line between cartoonish watermelons and abstract images with these custom Air Max 90s.

When you look at the shoes, the blinging gold is what blinds you right away. From the shoelaces to what looks like snakeskin leather, these shoes look like they dipped in gold. Then you have the Lakers purple that signifies these sneakers’ Los Angeles origins. While these shoes will only be released at Han Cholo in Echo Park, you may be able to eventually grab a pair on ebay. Via Hypebeast.
