  • LIVESTRONG x Nike Air Trainer 1
By on January 21st, 2010 | No Comments Comments

livestrong-nike-air-trainer-1The Nike Air Trainer 1 is know for its great Player Exclusives. Numerous athletes have received Player Exclusives, the long list includes names like Larry Fitzgerald, Troy Polamalu, Manny Ramirez, and Tiger Woods. Even though this Air Trainer 1 isn’t a Player Exclusive, is was made  specifically for Lance Armstrong’s LIVESTRONG foundation.

The shoe comes in the LIVESTRONG colors, white/black/yellow. White is used on most of the upper as well as on the midsole. Black patent leather is placed on the heel, toe, and on the back of the shoe. A bright yellow can be seen on the Nike Swoosh, tongue tag, and Air Max unit. We really haven’t seen many Air Trainer 1s like these, so dont sleep on these. You can get a pair of the LIVESTRONG x Nike Air Trainer 1’s now at Finishline.

  • Custom Nike Auto Flight “Fingerprint”

Here we have a Custom Nike Auto Flight, which is designed by TTK. We really don’t see Custom Auto Flights, we usually see custom designs on Air Force Ones, Dunks, and other popular models. So this really caught me by surprise, just because of the model that the design is held on.

This Auto Flight comes in a simple teal/black colorway. The shoe instantly catches your eye, with teal on most of the upper including the toe box and side panels. Black can be seen around the shoe including the toe, Nike Swoosh, and tongue. The reason the pair is dubbed “Fingerprint”, is because TTK placed unique graphics onto heel resembling his own fingerprint. Im not really feeling this Auto Flight, but you have to give it up to TTK for all the hard work put into this sneaker.

The Nike Air Royal Mid is know for its simple colorways. Nike has made it that way, and it has been successful that way. Here we have another pair of the Air Royal Mid, which is no different from the rest. This pair features a simple colorway. The shoe comes in White/Army Green.

The shoe sports a base constructed of white premium leather. Dark army accents are seen around the shoe including the tongue, shoelaces, and stitching. Added features include white inner lining and a perforated Nike swoosh. The shoe is finished off with a clean white rubber outsole. Not a big fan of the Air Royal Mid, but this is one of the best Air Royals we have seen. Available now at select Nike retailers.

  • Air Jordan II Retro – Brown/Black/Crocodile
By on January 21st, 2010 | No Comments Comments

    Airjordanretro2Crocodile

A couple of days ago we featured an Air Jordan II Retro, which was in a University Blue/Black colorway. Here we seen another Retro II, but this one has a little twist to it. This sneaker comes tricked out in brown crocodile skin. Have we ever seen crocodile skin on a pair of Air Jordans before?

As you can see most of the shoe comes in brown, including most of the upper. The most notable feature on the sneaker is the brown crocodile skin, which can be seen throughout the side panels. Black is also placed on the shoe and can be seen on the laces, outsole, and near the ankle. Not really sure what that red dot is meant to represent. Sorry to say it Jordan Brand, but i think this model will be a huge bust. This is just a first look, so keep it here for updates on this one.

Nike Air Royal Mid White/Army Green
It may not be the most popular from Nike’s extensive lineup of sneakers, but the Nike Air Royal still definitely has its place in the market and we really like this new Nike Air Royal Mid White/Army Green due to its nice and simple colorway. The upper of this one is made up primarily of white premium leather combined with minimal dark army accents in places like the tongue as well as on the shoelaces. This minimal detailing is complimented as well by minimal contrasting stitching around the front of the sole.Other nice features that this shoe possesses include a white inner lining and a perforated swoosh that helps to add to the overall sleek feeling of the shoe.We have a feeling that this one would make a much better spring or summer sneaker, but you can always buy them now and wait a bit to actually bust them out.

  • Air Jordan VI Retro – Pistons
By on January 21st, 2010 | No Comments Comments

    Air Jordan VI Retro Pistons
Detroit Pistons supporters should be proud of the next Air Jordan VI Retro as it is being dubbed as “Pistons” due to the fact that it uses the team’s colors to complete the upper as well as the sole. Brand Jordan combined the Home and Away color schemes to create one retro colorway. To break down the sneaker, it owns a Black patent leather and Black suede overlay. The tongue presents an embroidered Blue Jumpman logo while the upper portion features the Air Jordan label. Looking at the midsole in a 45 degrees angle, a wave of color assortment makes the contour faultless. It has a great mixture of Grey, Black-speckled Blue, Red, and White. The real twist comes from the outer sole where the blending of Varsity Red and true Blue Jumpman logo stands out from the clear sole. There is no word of the Air Jordan VI Retro release yet but expect it to drop in the upcoming months.
