Nike Air Stab Lays Low and Surprises in a Subdued Shoe Market
-

I have loved Nike running shoes since I laced up a pair of 1993 Pegasus to run my legs off against friends. There was always something simplistic about Nike’s older models that made them endearing to me even as others went through a phase with Adidas and Puma. Maybe its nostalgia or an interest in renewing an old sneaker love but the Nike Air Stab seems to have everything I need in a running show.
The Air-Sole cushioning system evenly distributes weight throughout the sole to anticipate pressure points with each step. The mixture of leather and synthetic uppers are standard in most Nike running shoes but this is an indication of immaculate design instead of a failure to innovate. It is difficult to improve upon a perfect formula and the Nike Air Stab is not trying to reinvent the wheel. The Air Stab only hopes to keep the wheel rolling for the next generation of runners.
