I used to have plain colored canvas dress shoes. I washed and scrubbed them quite a few times during their lifetime. However, Fred Perry’s new design uses dark blue stripes to absorb some of the used look. The shoes will not look so worn when the stripes are present to help disguise the streaks of dust, and grime from wear.The front toe pads are in a soft beige color. It facilitates walking out in style. When you happen to kick up some dust, the toe pad protects the rest of the shoe from getting the direct hit of the dust. Of course, you can wipe the toe pads occasionally to help maintain the shoes.

This Fred Perry Fall and Winter collection comes in blue pin stripes, plain white and off-white. I recommend the plain ones for work and formal function wear. The blue striped sneakers would add just the right touch of jazz to any casual outfit.
