Remember Remix Da Kickz?
Well, they are back and gearing up for a huge look in 2013. Sole Redemption has just gotten news that the fan favorite Remix Da Kickz is in collaboration with Japanese Graffiti artist, Haku-Ryu.
Ryu is known for creating very unique graffiti art pieces using Japanese writing brushes. He has become a much sough- after artist known for both his creativity and his resourcefulness. Ryu has been known to draw on everything from bicycle frames to surfboards to Asian drums.
In 2012, Ryu’s art was nominated in the “ARTAQ AWARDS 2012” in France.
This summer has seen the joining of Ryu and Remix Da Kickz owner and Nike Designer, Erick Moreira, for a-once-in-a-lifetime collaboration. The two have worked together on a customized Nike Air Force One in which Ryu will make a one-of-a-kind Japanese painting that will then be airbrushed onto the shoes.
The writing is in Japanese and it says “Every time I feel like giving up, myself in the future tells me YOU CAN DO IT! It’s been proven so I believe!”
The special-edition Nikes will be sold in limited quantities in various locations worldwide.
