It’s always better for the consumers when new players enter the market scene. It not only means more options, but it likewise translates into more and better designs and competitive pricing. With that being said, a new company is starting to make its mark in the kicks business – Oetzi, a brand that is committed into taking its inspiration from pre-historic principles. Named after a prehistoric man “Oetzi” that was said to have lived back in 3300 BC. When his mummy was discovered, it was said that what it had on is only the bare essentials for survival – something for warmth and a unique pair of shoes.

The OeTZI3300 truly has just the bare essentials and yet despite being utterly simple in design it still catches one’s attention. The Oetzi brand’s initial offering is made up of napa leather and oiled suede, with removable inner soles, midfoot velcro straps and a two-hole lace up system and caramel colored rubber sole.

The Diadora X Sneakers.BR was released early September of this year and yes I did say it is limited. In this regard, limited translates to 48 pairs. You read that right sweetie! The manufacturers only produced 48 pairs of these babies and was said to be exclusively released only to family and friends. So what makes them so special?

From the fusion of SneakersBR and Diadora, out comes “The Cloud Pack”. It is a combination of two classic 80s sneakers, The Speciale (a basketball shoes favorite back then) and the Jogging, for those into running. The Cloud, that bears a smiley face, as you can see on the silver icon attached to the shoe lace, was thought of in their desire to come up with a mascot.

The Cloud comes in two colorways of Black and yellow combination and the other one is dominantly white with accents of black, orange and yellow. The tongue bears the stitched logo of SneakersBR, where as the Diadora logo is embossed at the side of the sole. These limited edition fruition of SneakersBR and Diadora also comes with a Cloud tote bag. Makes you think just how lucky the recepients were huh?

While we think that the Ray Allen PE Jordan 1 had much more Christmas-like colors, we still like this new Jordan Melo M6 Christmas Edition as well.It has a traditional university blue/white color scheme with distincitve details in the form of the Jordan logo near the sole, the Melo logo on the side panel and the shoelaces.

What a good way to end the year than with the announcement of this new Air Jordan Alpha 1 Ray Allen PE?This one features a predominantly black base bute with Christmas colored accents like the green inner lining and outsole and the red swoosh and laces.The perforated leather on the sidepanel and toebox is really nice as well.

Reebok will be giving us another OG Pump after just celebrating their 20th anniversary of the Pump recently.This is the new Reebok Twilight Zone Pump Retro and it is looking sweet.Four colorways have been announced so far, but we have a feeling that there is much more to come.

Nike has kept their successful runner to basketball shoe formula going with the introduction of this new Nike Zoom Don.It resembles the Spiridon but there are some significant changes to the midsole to make these much more usable on the court.So far the colorways announced are gray/black/red, gray/blue and black/white.
