When it was released early 2009, the Nike Lunar Mariah was a hit.  It featured the 1980s look and beefed it up with current Nike technology.  It still has the seamless upper to make the shoe as light as possible.  It also features the Lunar midsole to make it lighter than the original.  It came out in pink, white and ultramarine.  Now it has the black and electric green track.  It now looks fiercer and ready for battle.   The electric green sole is really a head turner.   It would “keep you safe when jogging at night”, as the Riddler would say.

A sultry new addition to the New Balance kicks collection is the NB 850 or Skippy, you’ll find out later on why it was given the name Skippy. In the mean time, lets check out this new pair. It comes in the black and lime and white color combination, which is always a hit. So you may be asking what’s so different and what is it to look forward to with this pair of kicks? Well, the light brown leather that you see is made up of kangaroo leather. And yes, that’s how this pair got its nick Skippy. While the animal society will most likely protest, sneaker addicts like me will sure find it hard to resist this pair of kicks.

In preparation for the next popular celebration, Nike is geared up with a very attractive Dunk Hi Valentine’s Day edition. Patterned with the heart’s day’s color, Red, it has tiny White squares all over the canvas upper. The White accent continues to the Swoosh, laces, and sole. Although Christmas is over, a particular sneaker related to the past holiday is our next feature. Like the Jordan Melo M6 posted earlier, this next shoe which is the Christmas Edition bears an upper with detailed perforations all over. It comes in a University Blue colorway with Red laces, and Melo and Jumpman logos with White base.

Three New Balance models were chosen by Sneakernstuff to touch forming the “RGB Pack”. First is the New Balance 575which is done up in Red stands for the “R”.This sneaker has a rich Red suede all over the upper with a 3M reflective accent near the toe and on the heel as well as the NB label on the tongue and sole. Next is the 1500 in Green colorway for the “G” which possesses a Green, White, and Grey combination, while the 1700 is the last pair that composes two tones of Blue with hints of Yellow. Brand Jordan created the Jordan Melo M6 in honor of Carmelo Anthony’s alma mater, Syracuse University. Basically, the sneaker possesses White leather upper with Midnight Navy combination and Orange Blaze accent. From the collar to the midfoot is the Midnight Navy overlay with Orange Blaze eyelets, and Jumpman and Melo logos. A Black contrast stitching compacts the midsole. The Jordan Melo M6 is set to release on February 2010.
