Bright colors are “in” this season, and so Nike has just released another bright Orange colorway with White and Black accents. The Nike Air Presto comes in a rich solid Orange upper and White mid-sole with partly Black out-sole, with Orange lace and Orange interior lining. The Swoosh is found on the mid-sole, creating a perfect contrast from the inner angle. Now available at Mita and other Nike retail shops.

Casey Custom Sneakers created the North Carolina Air Force Ones back in December for a big Tar Heels fan. The designer’s UNC-inspired sneakers have gained renewed interest in light of the school’s recent victory in the NCAA Championship. I found these photos at the Casey Custom Sneakers website linked here.
The North Carolina AF1s feature a checkerboard pattern with alternating dark blue and Tarheel blue panels. The dark blue panels feature the UNC logo in white while the Tarheel blue panels feature the team’s mascot Ramses. The designer spreaded this pattern from the toe box to the heel to create an explosion of Tarheels imagery.
Casey Custom Sneakers uses the larger spaces on the tongue and middle panel to zoom in on the mixture of Ramses and the UNC logo. With all apologies to Michigan State fans, I can imagine that more custom sneakers honoring the North Carolina Tarheels will emerge in the following weeks.
