Singaporean creatives Mark Ong aka SBTG and DJ Inquisitive team up to produce a limited run of custom Converse Chuck Taylors, adorned in a “Thriller” theme to honor the late king of pop, Michael Jackson.
These shoes feature a distressed upper and sole complete with claw marks, scuffs & tongue zippers. The zipper tongues are in full effect and Royalefam branding tags the tongue. They released Sept 5th in Singapore but chances of a US release are slim. Via SneakerObession

Designed by Eddie Cruz this Nike AF1 was inspired by none other than L.A.’s favorite team, the Lakers. The upper is in purple snake skin with yellow swoosh. The outsole is red which represents the westside color. This is more obvious at the tongue where the word WEST is embroidered. Again this is more for the Lakers fanatics. Hey what if you live in the East and you’re a Lakers fan? They should make one with the word EAST embroidered on the tongue right?

As part of the Halloween celebration, Nike created an up to date shoe – the Nike Air Max 90 “Day of the Dead” which features a Black base with accents of Orange, Purple, Yellow, and lime Green. On the lower part of the side panel is a sort of a wild graphics where Yellow, lime Green, Orange, and Purple are mixed together while the Swoosh and inner lining are done up in Purple. Also included in the pack is a t-shirt with a glow-in-the-dark Day of the Dead graphics. So for your Halloween costume, you might want to add this dark shoe in your list.

We have seen this week two of Nike’s Dunk AC TZ featuring a monotone base. One is an over-all grey and the other one is an all-black upper which both feature simplicity. Now, we have another canvas-made upper but this time it is dressed with an eye-catching color of orange along with white swoosh and shoe lace. Eariler, we featured the a simple colorway of Nike Dunk Hi AC Tier Zero (TZ) featuring an over-all grey upper. Now, we have here another edition with monotone base also.
