    Tomorrow, the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Freshwater” re-releases for the first time since 2011.

    Decked out in Seattle Mariners colors with prolific design cues from top to bottom, the release tomorrow, April 21, marks the return of one of Griffey’s most revered styles and colorways, respectively.

    Nike Cuts Ties with Johnny Manziel

    Johnny Manziel, who signed a footwear and apparel deal with Nike in March of 2014, has now been dropped by the brand.

    As reported by ESPN’s Darren Rovell, in a confirmed statement from Nike spokesman Brian Strong, the brand is no longer endorsing the troubled quarterback.

    Following severed ties with his marketing agent, Maverick Carter, and superstar agent, Drew Rosenhaus earlier this week, Manziel’s once promising career continues to take a downward spiral.
