This weekend, sneakerheads from around the globe shared in the experience of celebrating Air Max Day.  This year’s annually celebration of Air included some special activations and live events in multiple cities including the highly anticipated Air Max Con that took place in Tokyo, Hong Kong, and New York City.

Hailing for Las Vegas, Angela, known to most as Ellaesco since the NikeTalk days, was featured in the latest Masters of Air video by Nike, and also was on hand at Air Max Con in New York City.

Etai has slowly been amassing a strong following on Instagram with some limited releases that have popped up from time to time.  In celebration of Air Max Day, Nice Kicks got the opportunity to see some of his customs in person that are all cut & sew jobs from the sole up.

This pair makes use of a Murakami x Louis Vuitton scarf and Italian leather to construct the luxury cut & sew custom Nike Air Max 90.

The past several days have been busy in the streets of Los Angeles as the days counted down to Air Max Day.  The original Undefeated space was transformed into a pop-up shop for Air Max Day featuring the best Air Max classics for sale as well as limited custom debrays as gift with purchase.

Today, the HTM collection of Air Maxes released to a steady lineup of 30 people deep through the day.
