Another one of Reebok’s classic silhouettes; the Reebok Answer 1 hits the stores on May 24th. It’s a logical follow-up to the Reebok Question that has enjoyed a sterling run in the last year and half. Allen Iverson wore the Answer 1 during his second season, in 1997-98.

The first scheduled release is an OG colorway, most likely to be followed by new and OG releases over the rest of the year. We’re looking at a black leather base, white midsole, and grey on the mudguard. The kicks carry gold accents and feature DMX technology.

  • Bring ‘em Back: Air Jordan 11 Low White/Columbia Blue
By on April 28th, 2013 | No Comments Comments

With Joe Johnson lacing up an upcoming retro release in the playoffs and sunny summer days on the horizon, we’re thinking about Air Jordan 11 Lows. While the newly updated White/Black-True Red makeup has grown in favor for many, it’s hard to go wrong with the White/Columbia Blue colorway from 2001. This spring release dropped in the perfect season for immediate wear, coinciding with warm weather and peak popularity of the soft blue shade. This model and color code have rested long enough, bring ‘em back!

  • The Good, the Bad & the Ugly
By on April 28th, 2013 | No Comments Comments

Welcome to another edition of The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly. This week, we cover many spectrums of the sneaker culture. Check to see what sneakers made the respective categories and sound off below if you agree or disagree.

Taking a popular Jordan motif and placing it on a pair of Vans may seem like a misstep, but JP proves that logic wrong. It’s great to see other sneakers besides Nike silhouettes used as a canvas for custom sneakers. Hopefully we can see more original designs/ideas in the near future.

  • Kicks On Court: Nate Robinson Revisits “Miro” Air Jordan 7 in Triple Overtime Thriller
By on April 28th, 2013 | No Comments Comments

Every once in awhile, Nate Robinson shelves his “Playoff” 13s and rocks a head-turning pair of shoes – think Nike Air Yeezy 2, “Motorboat Jones” 9 and “Miro” Air Jordan 7. He revisited the latter mentioned shoe in yesterday’s thrilling, triple overtime Game 4 of the Bulls vs. Nets series. In detail, Robinson laced up the Miro 7 in the first quarter of yesterday’s game before going back to the locker room in the middle of the game and switching to his trusty “Playoff” 13s. If you recall, Robinson first laced up the Air Jordan 7 “Miro” on Thanksgiving Eve against the Houston Rockets.

View these kicks plus more, worn by Eric Bledsoe, Tony Wroten, Joe Johnson and others, in today’s edition of Kicks On Court.
