The Puma Haast Disc was a futuristic design when it came out; didn’t exactly set the world on fire back then. It is still a futuristic design and it does have a dedicated fan following. It is currently enjoying a resurgence of sorts with new colorways being released, and now this…a collaboration between London-based Turkish designer Hussein Chalayan and the German shoemaker. It’s a lightweight rendition of the Puma Hoast Disc featuring the innovative disc fastening technology.

Take a look at the images, what do you see? We see a mesh and leather construction, a white midsole on one and a tonal midsole on the other, the designer’s branding on one side and, of course, the disc fastener. Available now, can be yours for £160.00.

Men’s designer John Varvatos teams up with Converse to create the Chuck Taylor Hi “Nail Studs”. Nail studs have been used as a motif by the designer in an earlier collaboration. That was the Converse zip studied Chuck Taylor Beluga; and it was a waxed canvas and leather affair with a zipper and loads of macho appeal.

This iteration has a purely waxed canvas upper with countless nail studs all over the surface. The white toe and sole exude a “worn” look. Tonal leather laces are threaded through metal eyelets. Take a look at the images. Available now.

Just yesterday, we saw images of the London edition of the Nike Air Max 95, part of the “HomeTurf” collection. And today we present you with news on the Paris edition of the Nike AM1, that uses a Hyperfuse construction.

Charcoal grey and yellow come together on the upper which sports a mesh underlay. There are no overt Parisian motifs that one can detect. This is a Spring 2013 release. Take a look at the images.
