Japanese designer, Yohji Yamamoto continues to soar higher in his career as he touched one of adidas’ icons, the Nomad Star. Labeled as the Y-3 range, Yamamoto’s latest creation is far unique than any other silhouettes ever re-made. Being a master tailor whose work is thought to be of genius, Yamamoto applied his own technique on this adidas Y-3 Nomad Star.

The images provided for this release are somewhat teaser photos that only reveal portion of the shoe and not he whole of it. Yet, at some point we can conclude that it is greatly done and is one of this season’s best pairs. Check out for the distinctive toe cap that’s made of rubber with wavy details, perfectly cups the forefoot. The main upper is made of wrinkled leather with a plain leather base that features Yohji Yamamoto’s namesake. adidas presents two colorways for this Y-3 Nomad Star that include burgundy/burgundy and black/blue.

Dubbed the adidas Nomad Star, this original design combines a velvet ankle-wrap, full-grain premium leather upper, and re-designed rubber shell-toe into a look reminiscent of a nomadic dress.
