To keep up with the colors of spring, Nike has annonced the release of its Nike Airforce 1: Pastel Collection. The sneaks were presented in two colors: Court Purple over white and Lush Teal over white. The body and the tongue, including the Nike “Swoosh” logo are in either purple or lush teal in color while the laces, soles and inner are white. The signature characteristic of the shoe, the deubrè or the small medallion inscribed with “AF-1″ and the year “82″ that is secured to the bottom laces is ever present. You have the option of removing though, by slipping it off the laces.

As is quite obvious of the name, it is coined after the plane that carries the President of the United States, the Air Force One. It has become one of the favorite collector items of sneaker collectors or Sneakerheads, so owning one would be a pretty good idea.

  • Kicks On Court: Delonte West Brings “Galaxy” Foams to South Beach
By on March 30th, 2012 | No Comments Comments

Our Kicks On Court column has missed what Delonte West brings to the table, or hardwood rather. Due to a broken right ring finger, the southpaw has missed the past 22 games, yet, last night, West returned to the court in an out-of-this-world way. In the Mavericks matchup with the Miami Heat in South Beach, Delonte stepped onto the court in the “Galaxy” Nike Air Foamposite One. He is now the second active player to wear them in an official game (the other being Rajon Rondo in the 2012 NBA All-Star Game). Were you lucky enough to get your hands on these? If so, how often do you rock them? View these kicks plus more, worn by Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Jason Terry and others, below.
