  • Nike Dunk High Premium – Black/Midnight Fog/Aster Pink
By on March 29th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

Gingham was loved by many sneakerheads when it was seen on the Nike Dunk. But for some odd reason, Nike stopped using gingham on the Dunk model. But it looks like gingham is clearly back on the Nike Dunk. Nikes latest Dunk to feature the print is this High Premium, which comes in a Black/Midnight Fog/Aster Pink colorway.

As you see, most of the sneaker comes in some kind of black. The gingham jumps right onto the toe box, quarter panel, and collar. Premium tumbled leather covers the midfoot, toe, and other areas of the sneaker. Black and Midnight Fog join forces to create the midsole and outsole. A touch of Aster Pink is placed on the tongue tag. The shoe is pretty simple, which a lot of people look in a pair of sneakers.

A couple of days ago, we got a sneaker peak at the Air Jordan IX Premio. The red wax stamp on the upper made it sure that this was indeed part of the BIN23 Collection. Well we now have new images to confirm that. This Air IX comes in a white and gold colorway. White is used throughout the upper and outsole, while gold accents are seen on areas such as the midsole and heel. The first sneaker to be part of the BIN23 Collection was the Air Jordan II Premio, which is expected to release April 10. The Air Jordan II Premio is also expected to carry a jaw dropping $225 price tag, which can drag many people away from the sneaker. So expect all the sneakers in the BIN23 Collection to retail for $225, but don’t take my word for it. Check out a couple more shots after the jump and let us know what you think. Via SoleCollector

  • Air Jordan 1 Retro “Foamposite” Preview
By on March 29th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

Wish and TheShoeGame put their forces together to host an event in Atlanta called “A Night With Jordan Brand”. The event showed a preview of Jordan Brand’s Holiday 2010 Collection and a interview with Jordan Brand designer, Jason Mayden. With all the sneakers that Jason Mayden showed off at the event, the most talked about was the Air Jordan 1 Retro “Foamposite”. The Foamposite material has been seen on a number of models from Nike, So it was only a matter of time until Jordan Brand used the material on their sneakers. Exact features aren’t out yet, but we could tell you the obvious. Black foamposite material is used on most of the upper. Also featured is a blue translucent outsole. From what we can see, the sneaker isn’t that bad. Stay tuned for more details as time go’s on. Via NiceKicks.

    Fila T 1 Mid
If you haven’t been paying close attention to the brands besides Nike and Jordan lately then you may not have even noticed that Fila has been making somewhat of a comeback and a very welcomed one at that.Fila used to be a pretty dominant force in the sneaker industry but unfortunately has been slipping over the years.Hopefully this new sneaker and other ones that we have spotted recently are signs of good things to come from them.

This new Fila T-1 Mid looks to take things back to their vintage days when things were going really well for the brand.Along with the sneakers they will also be releasing some vintage 80’s style jackets and sweatsuits to really give you that old school feeling. If you miss the nostalgia and the good old days, then you might want to run out and pick some of these up yourself.

  • Nike Air Force 1 NY Yankees Pack x Futura
By on March 29th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

Nike Air Force 1 NY Yankees Pack x Futura
A sneaker designed to pay homage to a specific city, state, team or institution is always a pride of the particular entity. Now we can say that the New Yorkers or the Yankees are always proud every time Nike issues a tribute sneaker for them.

With the help of a well-known collaborator, Futura, the Nike Air Force 1 got dressed up in a White-on-Silver motif. This seems to have borrowed some ideas from the Air Jordan Silver Anniversary lineup. But for sure, Nike has maintained the original AF1 looks.

As a result, the Yankees got a clean upper that displays a White leather base with heavily-perforated heel area and mid panel which receives a harmonious tone from the Silver Swoosh, Silver ankle strap, Silver heel tab, and unique Silver debray with Futura logo. The tongue also shows up a customized logo with a Black background.

The shoe’s clear outsole is even amazing with the labels “BE” (right shoe) and “TRUE” (left shoe). Is this the Yankees’ motto? That’s for you to discover!

While in the process of informing, it is the best time for you to learn that this AF1 release has just dropped at selected Nike retailers.
