Tekneek Custom Sneakers and Apparel has been on a roll lately with some hot customs for spring. In addition to the Buffalo Bandits and Sesame Street customs covered on MAS, Tekneek came out with the Pink Star Air Force Ones at the beginning of April. I found the Pink Stars at the designer’s Facebook paged linked here.

The fanciful stars that glide across the pink expanse on the Pink Star AF1s show Tekneek’s abundant design skills. I was particularly impressed by the partially finished stars on the pink Nike swooshes, maintaining the continuity of the galactic image as pink gives way to white. The tables are turned as the pink swooshes turn white and the white middle panels turn into pink heel wraps.

While I can relate more to the Sesame Street AF1s, I can appreciate the artistry involved in the Pink Star AF1s. The designer had little room to play with the star shapes which required a laser-like focus and a steady hand to complete.

This retro release of the Air Diggs, which was first released in 1991 for volleyball players, is awesome, fantastic and amazing. Observed on the feet of Marcus Troy during the latest Jordan Brand Classic Event, this fusion brings together some mad color combinations and applies them on the powerful combination of the Air Jordan with the Air Force.

The red and grey colorway reminds us of the fiery feet of champions dancing on the ash-covered fields of glory as the trampled remains of despair and pessimism lie vanquished. And indeed, it’s hard to expect anything else from Nike and their master designers. Mediocrity conquered is the motto in Nikeland.

This Air Forcehas had some wonderful releases hitting the stores recently, and we have done our best to review them in a timely fashion in these web pages.The Huarache is another successful addition to the roster, the color choice, contours, and overall concept all contributing to the everlasting fame of the Nike name.

The Huarache employs premium purple leather from the mid panel and eyelet section moving back towards the rear. Mudguard and toe box feature a rich untreated black leather which adds a nice change and a beautiful touch to the overal purple colorway of the design.

They are available in Europe and UK only so far. But we’ll be sure to update you when they grace this side of the Atlantic as well.
